Terms and Conditions
We/Us: Jonathan Golden Qigong and Meditation Teacher
You: any student taking a Qigong class or Meditation session.
Fees. The costs of any class, session or course is published on the website: https://www.jonathangolden.co.uk/ or will be agreed by you individually and is payable in advance.
Start/End Time and cancellations. Classes which are not part of a fixed course can be rescheduled without penalty provided a minimum of 48 hours' advanced notice is given. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, then we are not obliged to refund or transfer the class.
If you know you are arriving late or early, please let us know in advance and try to avoid interrupting other class members. If a class or session starts late due to your delay, or if a class or session is interrupted by you or another student, it will still end as scheduled. If you have not arrived within 20 minutes of the start time, we may cancel the class or session. In both cases the class or session will be charged in full.

If for any other reason we are obliged to cancel a class, we will try and reschedule to a time which suits class members and/or provide a video of the class.
Online Sessions. Please let us have a mobile number for you in case the video drops and we need to contact you. For qigong sessions, you must ensure that you can be seen and have a practice area of at least 1.5 x 2 metres away from sharp or hard objects.
Online classes and sessions are recorded for insurance purposes and will be only shared with those present at the class or subscribers to the relevant course/service. Videos will be posted privately to YouTube and will only be accessible by course members who provide us with a Gmail address. They may also be shared with our own supervisors for monitoring and teacher training purposes.

As all online classes are recorded, you may be able to catch up on any class once it is posted to the private Golden Qigong YouTube channel.

Liability Waiver. You are responsible for any loss or damage to personal property at any class or session.

You take full responsibility for your own health and any illness or injury that may occur. You cannot and will not hold us responsible in the case of accident or illness during practice.

You should check with a trusted medical professional before starting any new exercise routine and always err on the side of caution. If you have an existing medical condition or injury, you should make sure your doctor approves of Qigong and/or Meditation and Mindfulness as a rehabilitation protocol.

Please let us know in advance or at the start of the class or session, if there are any health issues we should be aware of and if you have access or particular requirements such as instructions for how to perform exercises while seated.
Confidentiality. Privacy will be respected and we will safeguard anonymity wherever possible. Information is collected to support and enhance the teacher/student relationship, to process bookings, provide services and support, and share news of products, services, news and information with students. We may also keep short process notes about classes and sessions and these will be kept securely. We do not and will not sell your personal information.
